The afternoon tea service includes a selection of savories, such as finger sandwiches and quiches, as well as a variety of sweets, including scones with clotted cream and jam, and delicate pastries.

For children aged 10 years and younger we've created a special option for them to experience afternoon tea but with kid-friendly menu options. They have a choice of lemonade or hot chocolate instead of hot tea.
This is an affordable option if you want the tea party experience but are supplying your own china and serving. With this package, you get all the savories, scones, desserts and tea dropped off to you prior to your event!

Reservations/Booking
To secure your booking a deposit of 50% is required. All booking requests that have not been paid a deposit are defined as tentative and dates & time slots cannot be guaranteed. Example, if another party books the same date, requests the same time and pays their deposit 1st you would then lose your tentative booking.
Once you receive your proposal and the deposit is paid your booking will be confirmed and you will be emailed a receipt.
Deposits apply to the total purchase.
The balance must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to your event, unless other arrangements have been made in writing with The Hen and Drake Modern Tearoom.
Refunds
The Hen and Drake Modern Tearoom will refund the entire purchase amount if we are unable to provide our services. This clause does not cover client-initiated cancellations. If The Hen and Drake Modern Tearoom is unable to provide services (or part of) due to extenuating or unforeseen circumstances, clients may not make any claim other then a full refund of deposit.
